Today Dan Beard (KB7JZI) gave a presentation titled Essential Aspects of Emergency Communications.  Clicking that link will download the presentation so that you can look at it on your device.  The Cliff’s Notes version is that his presentation related to how to participate at an “event” and be helpful, not become a part of the problem.  I personally found the presentation fascinating.  Beyond fascinating actually.  I am going to see if we can get him to do that same presentation over again at the October meeting so that we can advertise it and further develop the discussion.  – Phillip

The presentation file can be opened by Microsoft PowerPoint, their free viewer PPTX Viewer (you can close the window it will open on their site and go straight to the download) or one of the Linux variants. – Phillip
