All,
I don’t entirely know what the implications are, but I did think this story – Cars registered in Texas after 2025 will no longer need to pass a safety inspection, but owners will still pay the fee – might interest some of you.
Stay safe,
Phillip
“It’s all about the cash hazard … er … we mean, “crash hazard.””
When I lived in California in the late 70’s the Federal Government threatened to withhold federal highway money from the state because they didn’t inspect vehicles.
Is Texas doing this just so they can take the Federal Government to court over something else too? Go figure.
OK hasnt required registration for several years. I hope that means if you live in say Collin County they wont require the emission testing.
