Club News 2021

At the regular meeting of the Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club, WB5RDD, held May 26, 2018, Lamar County Judge Chuck Superville, Jr. presented the club, Jerry Keisler, WA5KZA, Kelly Collins, W5KJC, and Leo Salas, N5JEP with official proclamations recognizing their contributions to the ham radio and local community.

We thank Judge Superville for his recognition and understanding of ham radio and its contributions to the community as a whole.

The Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the national association for Amateur Radio, the American Radio Relay League, and is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The NCVEC Question Pool Committee hereby released into public domain the 2018-2022 Technician Class, Element 2, Question pool.

This pool becomes effective for all Element 2 license examinations administered on July 1, 2018 and is valid until June 30, 2022.

Don’t forget to listen on 146.76 PL 203.5 and 444.500 PL 114.8 during storms. We always try to have someone at the EOC in Paris and will give and receive weather reports for Paris and Lamar County. The national weather service Fort Worth is also on 444.500 during storms.
